Powerpoint, lighting & fan installation
The everyday work. Add a powerpoint, change your lights, put in a ceiling fan or run power outside.
The everyday jobs.
An extra powerpoint usually means running a short new cable from an existing circuit and fitting a new outlet. Most rooms can take one or two more without any trouble. If the circuit is already working hard, Sam may suggest a new one.
Lighting jobs can be a simple swap to LED or a full set of new downlights. Swaps often need no patching. New lighting circuits sometimes do.
Ceiling fans need a proper mounting and sometimes their own controller. Sam installs the fan and wires up the controls.
Outdoor power, sheds, granny flats, garden lighting and festoon lights are all part of the job too.
Anything that plugs in or switches on.
You've set up a desk in the study and there's no powerpoint where you need it.
The living room has one dim light in the middle of the ceiling and you'd like downlights instead.
You've bought a new pendant light to replace the builder's basic fitting.
You want a ceiling fan in the kids' room before summer.
Simple from start to finish.

Can Sam install downlights in an existing ceiling?

Sam came out on a Saturday morning when our switchboard tripped and wouldn't reset. Diagnosed a failing safety switch, replaced it on the spot, and ran a full RCD test on the whole house. Booked him back for a proper switchboard upgrade two weeks later. Tidy work, fair price.

Got a Tesla Wall Connector installed before our new car arrived. Sam quoted on the phone, came out two days later, charger up and running in a few hours. Showed us how the app works. Pricing was straightforward.
